Shugborough has recently been awarded the new Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.

The badge was granted to the estate by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. This organisation is supported by central government and advocates that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development- whatever their age, ability or circumstances.

In order to obtain the badge, Shugborough needed to demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high quality education and meet six core criteria including effectively managing safety, successfully meeting learner needs and acting upon feedback.
