'The best days of our lives?' New mobile museum exhibition Staffordshire's mobile museum has a new exhibition encouraging visitors to remember their childhood. The mobile museum offers an exciting opportunity to engage in innovative local history study without leaving the safety of your school grounds.

Staffordshire's mobile museum will tour yearly with a changing exhibition. Currently 'The best days of our lives?' exhibition explores how the experience of childhood has changed dramatically during the past 200 years looking at different aspects of childhood including toys and games, mothers and babies, education, work and sickness and health.

A variety of resources, are avaliable to community and educational organisations including interactive activities for use both on and off the vehicle.

For schools visits, children can engage in cross-curricular activites, using a range of learning stlyes and developing practical and independent thinking skills.

Schools can now sign up for the experience at an introductory price of £95 per day or £50 per half a day.
