News - Education at the Wedgwood Museum - It's not just pots

Education at the Wedgwood Museum - It's not just pots The new Wedgwood Museum has created a fantastic learning resource for the whole country. The collection, on display in a new £10.5 million building, is internationally important and there for you to use.

One of the main benefits of the collections are their subject reach - art and design, citizenship, local history, geography, science and much more. Support for reading and writing, speaking and listening, numeracy and ICT are key to all we do. More than that these cross-curricular, creative and inspirational workshops make learning FUN - whatever your age or ability.

As you would expect the new building's dedicated education space has state-of-the-art facilities. The workshop and resources have been created by working extremely closely with teachers and have been developed with teachers needs in mind.

A class can visit for a single workshop or enjoy a day with a host of different activities on offer.

Workshops are very flexible and are tailored to the learning outcomes you require.
