Borough Museum and Art Gallery

Borough Museum and Art Gallery In a Victorian villa set in beautiful parkland the museum has permanent galleries covering topics such as Romans, Victorians, wartime and toys. There is a recreated Victorian street with shops and doctor's surgery and a Victorian drawing room. There are also two temporary exhibition spaces with changing art exhibitions.

Outreach Details
The Borough Museum and Art Gallery are very flexible and would be please to discuss individual outreach requirements.
A "Museum in a Box" loan service is offered to help bring a little museum magic into the classroom. Choose from Romans, Tudors, Victorians, World War Two, Toys in the Past or Seaside Holidays.

Additional Information
This museum is a small friendly museum with superb collections and an enviable location in the beautiful Brampton Park which offers a superb play area, sand pit and even a Miniture Railway! (Please contact the museum for more details on outdoor activities / facilities). Staff aim to make school visits a great experience for both pupils and teachers!

Booking is easy; just contact the museum to discuss your requiremnets. Risk assessments and booking information are provided and a complimentry hot drink is offered during your visit.

There is ample coach parking in the park area, picnic style lunches can be accomodated and the friendly staff are always on hand to help you visit run smoothly.
