Cheddleton Flint Mill
This Grade II* listed mill situated in a rural setting uniquely positioned between canal and river Churnet, was used to grind flint for the earthenware industry. Collections and display panels tell the story of the mill, the production of pottery materials and pottery, and the growth and industrial heritage of the region. Two large water wheels are driven from the River Churnet. |

Maximum 30 pupils Schools approach the mill along a canal towpath, so care must be taken. Car park can accomodate 2 minibuses. Coaches can drop off at mill on A520. |
