There are plenty of activities for school groups on offer at the Wedgwood Museum and adjacent Visitor Centre.
Museum workshop fees have entrance to the museum included. Galleries have been specially designed to enspire everyone - regardless of your age or ability.
They are a great way for your pupils to explore subjects such as art and design, history, geography and science. You can even use them to introduce more difficult concepts such as commemoration, slavery, the industrial revolution, and entrepreneurship.
Everyone is encouraged to be enthused by the collections and welsome school groups to sketch in the galleries at no extra charge. If classes simply want to visit the museum galleries the educational group entry rate is £3 per pupil.
There are also plenty of activities avaliable for school groups at the adjacent Wedgwood Visitor Centre. Where pupils can throw their own pots, paint china flowers or plates and even make their own ceramic ornaments as used on Wedgwood's iconic blue and white jasper. It can make a great extra to the day. Please not that additional charges apply for Visitor Centre visits and activities.
